As the admin of a property, you can perform checks on your own property. However, during your absences, you will most likely request a trusted neighbour, friend, family member, etc, to check on your property.
You can add checkers to your property to complete a check. Checkers only have the ability to complete the check list and view your property’s details. They cannot change or edit any details. They can also only access information for the property you invite them to. If you have multiple properties, you will have to send an invitation for each property.
To add a checker to your property, follow these steps:
From the Home (Properties) screen, select the property you wish to add a checker to
In the Property Checkers box, select either ‘Add’ or ‘Add Property Checker’ icon.
Enter the property checkers email.
If the property checker already has a property watch account they will receive an email and app notification of the invitation. They can accept the invitation via an accept button from the email they receive, or once they login through the app they can choose to Accept or Decline the invitation.
If the property checker does not have a Property Watch account, they will receive an email to create an account. Once their account is created they will have the option to Accept or Decline the invitation to the property.
